New Principal Welcomed at Our Lady of Black Rock

North Buffalo (WGRZ)-- Our Lady of Black Rock School has recently named Martha Eadie as its new principal.

Eadie has served a two-year tenure as the principal at North Tonawanda Catholic and over ten years as a teacher within Catholic schools.

A native of the city of Buffalo, Eadie received her Master's Degree in School Administration from Canisius College. She also has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

For Eadie, working in Catholic education has been both a personal choice and a blessing. "I love the opportunity to be in an elementary school full of children," says Eadie.

Reverend Richard Jedrzejewski, OLBR Canonical Administrator and Chairman of the School Board, is excited to welcome the new principal.

Going into the new school year, Eadie plans to build time into the daily schedule for teacher professional development, adjusting the class schedule to allow for an extra class period each day.

There will also be more opportunties for student intervention, team teaching, and collaboration among staff.
