Weekend Hoops Clinic to Help Owen's Toybox
News

Young Owen Pieber passed away at age 4, after a brave battle against medulloblastoma, an aggressive cancer of the brain and spine. His compassion for others during his ordeal inspired Owen's Toybox. Besides games for pediatric cancer patients, the "toybox", which is transportable, contains important items for families of young oncology patients at Women's and Childrens Hospital.

This weekend, a basketball clinic for kids and teens of both genders is being held at the Gloria Parks Community Center on Main Street in Buffalo. For a $35 donation to Owen's Toybox, your child can receive three hours of instruction from collegiate coaches and all-star players.

Registration is between 9 and 9:30 this Saturday morning.
