Each day I will write about something that a person can do to help others. I want to show that we can help others without having a lot of money or time. I feel strongly that we all have something that we can offer. The things that I write about will usually not take up much time or require large donations.  I love the daily Ways To Save.  This can be a Ways To Give.

This is a great site.  When you go there you pick a children’s book to read online (mine took only a few minutes to read), and for each book read a hardcopy book is donated to a child somewhere in the world.  You can also pick a cause to donate your book to.  The site lets you know how many books have been donated to each cause.  If you have a little one this is a great time to do a story with them and you can know while you are sharing the gift of reading with you little one you are giving the gift to another little one.  If you don't have a young child to read to just take a few moments to read the story and a book is donated to a child.
