Recycle CD's And DVD's | Community Spirit

Each day I will write about something that a person can do to help others. I want to show that we can help others without having a lot of money or time. I feel strongly that we all have something that we can offer. The things that I write about will usually not take up much time or require large donations.  I love the daily Ways To Save.  This can be a Ways To Give.

Action:  Don’t throw out your CD’s, DVD’s or plastic holders

Time Needed:  Only a few moments to collect and send in

Requirements:  Getting rid of old CD’s or DVD’s that are damaged or scratched

Cost:  Postage to mail them in

Next time you have a CD or DVD that is damaged or can’t be used anymore, please don’t toss it in the trash.  They will stay forever in landfills or if burned cause harmful gases.  You just need to send them in and they will be reused and made into something that someone can use again and again.  It is up to all of us to take care of this planet.
