Each day I will write about something that a person can do to help others. I want to show that we can help others without having a lot of money or time. I feel strongly that we all have something that we can offer. The things that I write about will usually not take up much time or require large donations.  I love the daily Ways To Save.  This can be a Ways To Give.

Day 132:

 Action:  Donate one of the following new or gently used items:  Dog and cat toys, beds, food, bowls, grooming kits, flea and tick medications, Heartgard, Nylabones, leashes, collars, leaders, harnesses, crates, carriers, cat litter, litter scooper's, playpens, scratching posts, gift certificates for pet stores, and  gas cards for transporting animals.

Time Needed: Only time to collect unused items and mail them in

Requirements:  Have at home or purchase items to donate to the care of dogs and cats

Cost: Postage to mail if you have these items at home

Warning:  When you look at these dogs and cats you will fall in love.  This great site gives foster care to dogs and cats until they find their forever home.  They need supplies to keep the costs down.  If you find you have items around your house that you do not need anymore, they can be put to great use with this wonderful organization.  I love their motto:  From the street to your sofa………as I am sitting on my sofa with my puppy, I know the feeling of having that unconditional love from such a precious animal.
