BUFFALO, NY— Visit the Buffalo Zoo for the Zooper Saturday Bear Awareness Day event on May 5, and have some Cinco de Mayo-themed fun while also learning about the Zoo’s Andean and polar bears! Highlights include informational tables, keeper talks and enrichment for the animals.
The event runs from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Activities (with the exception of raffles) are free with Zoo admission. Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket or $2 for three tickets.
The Buffalo Zoo thanks Goya Foods for sponsoring the bear exhibit.
The schedule of events is as follows:
11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Enrichment activities, raffles and Goya games
11:00 a.m. Bear Feeding
11:30 a.m. Bear Feeding
12:00 p.m. Bear Enrichment
1:00 p.m. Andean/Polar Bear Keeper Talk
1:30 p.m. Bear Feeding
2:00 p.m. Bear Enrichment
2:30 p.m. Bear Feeding
2:45 p.m. Raffle Winners Announced (You do not have to be present to win.)
Please note: Informational tables and the raffle will be moved inside the M&T Bank Rainforest Falls Visitors Center if inclement weather occurs.
