Experience Holiday Magic at the Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees presents a magical wonderland for all of Western New York to enjoy with decorated trees, wreaths, swags and mantle pieces on display and a Boutique filled with holiday home décor and gifts at the Hyatt Regency Hotel located at 2 Fountain Plaza, Buffalo 14202 from November 19- December 3. 

Sponsored by CGF Anesthesiology, Mark IV Industries Foundation and TOPS Friendly Markets, the Festival of Trees is Western New York’s premier holiday event, featuring decorated trees, wreaths, swags and mantle pieces on display and a Boutique filled with holiday home décor and gifts.

Fairgrounds Festival of Lights opens Friday at 5:30pm

The 6th annual Fairgrounds Festival of Light will feature over one million lights in a drive through that spans nearly 2 miles with the addition of eleven large displays.   The Festival will run 29 days starting November 26 – January 1, gates open 5:30 – 9:30pm and grounds open until 10:00pm. (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). Admission to the Fairgrounds Festival of Lights is just $18 per carload. 

New to the Festival of Lights this year will be a new Kids Game Show called “Everyone’s A Winner” hosted by Rob and Carol Allen, a  newly redesigned Sing-a-Long Winterific indoor animated light show, and a new North Pole Village featuring old time window displays reminisce cent of the nostalgic downtown shopping days  .  Returning with a new nightly show is The World’s Largest Elf, Kandy Kane, reindeer carriage rides on weekends, Santa’s Magical Midway featuring indoor kiddie rides, Santa and much more.

Claude AnShin Thomas practices "engaged" Buddhism. He and his associate, Weibke KenShin Andersen, are invited to visit areas where violence is prevalent so they can offer a peaceful alternative--mindful meditation.
