Excitement Builds for Camp Peaceprints 2011

"Justice and Peace in Space and Time" is the theme of the fourth annual Camp Peaceprints, brought to you by the SSJ Sister Karen Klimczak Center for Nonviolence, and the Interfaith Peace Network of Western New York, which will take place from July 25th through August 5th at St. Margaret School in Buffalo.

Camp Peaceprints is a summer camp designed to introduce youth ages 8 to 13 to social justice, while providing them with peaceful conflict resolution skills and exposure to a diverse community. We work on building skills for cooperation, communication, dealing with feelings, and problem-solving. We gain knowledge about issues primarily through guest presenters from the progressive community who are deeply involved and passionate about their work.
