Sisters of Charity Hospital Presents Free Program on Joint Replacement | Health
Are you contemplating a knee or hip replacement? Joseph Falcone, MD, DO, chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Sisters of Charity Hospital, a member of Catholic Health, will present a free evening program, “Advances in Joint Replacement,” on Thursday, June 14, 2012, from 6 - 7:30 pm at the Williamsville Diagnostic Center located at 400 International Drive in Williamsville.
According to the National Institute of Health, arthritis is responsible for more trouble walking and climbing stairs, and is the most common indicator for joint replacement surgery. This free program will cover everything you always wanted to know about total knee or hip replacement surgery and what to expect during the recovery phase and rehabilitation process.
This program is free and open to all. Registration is required. For more information or to register, call Catholic Health’s HealthConnection at 447-6205.
