State Gives Zoo $400K for Polar Bear Exhibit
BUFFALO, NY - The state announced Monday that they will be giving the Buffalo Zoo $400,000 for the Buffalo Zoo's Arctic Edge exhibit.
The Buffalo Zoo plans to build an $18 million polar bear habitat, currently they have $16.6 million.
"We're going after some individual donors to bring in some high end people. But come hell or high water, we're going to get $18-million by the end of this year.
Right now, the Zoo's polar bear cubs, Luna and Kali are sharing a temporary exhibit with the tigers.
