3 Alarm Fire at Vacant North Buffalo Church | News

BUFFALO, NY - Fire officials are investigating what caused a 3-alarm fire to break out at a vacant church Saturday evening.

The vacant church is located at Tacoma and Colvin in North Buffalo.

Nobody was inside the church when firefighters arrived but there have been recent reports of children coming in and out of the building.

One firefighter was taken to ECMC to be treated for a possible broken ankle. Other firefighters suffered some minor burns.

There is an estimated $250,000 in damage to the building.
