Dr. Pamela Brown Named Buffalo School Superintendent | News

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo School Board has voted to name Dr. Pamela Brown the new superintendent of the district.
Dr. Brown beat out two other candidates, interim superintendent Amber Dixon, and Dr. Edward Newsome, an administrator with Baltimore City Schools.
Terms of Dr. Brown's contract have not been released. She is currently the Senior Research and Planning Associate for the Center for Educational Leadership and Technology in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Dr. Brown also served as Assistant Superintendent and CAO for the School District of Philadelphia and also worked in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District. She has over 20-years of experience in public education.
