Business First School Rankings: Overachievement and Cost-Effectiveness | News

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Business First's 2012 rankings continue today with the most overachieving and cost-effective school districts in Western New York.

The Sherman school district in Chautauqua County finished at the top of the list for overachievement. Business First says that the school scores well academically despite being one of the poorer districts in the region.

Pine Valley and Westfield also performed well beyond their socio-economic conditions in academics.

Buffalo Business First also ranks Clarence as having the best cost-benefit ratio at $13,410 per student. Despite its efficiency, Clarence placed second academically in yesterday's overall school rankings.
