Buffalo Fire Truck Involved in Accident | News
BUFFALO, NY - An accident involving a Buffalo fire truck Monday morning sent one person to the hospital.
The accident happened at the intersection of Main Street and Winspear Avenue around 9 a.m.
Buffalo Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield tells 2 On Your Side the firefighters were responding to an alarm at University at Buffalo with lights and sirens on when they collided with the car.
The driver of the car was taken to ECMC with minor injuries. The Ladder 7 firefighters were not hurt.
Buffalo Police Accident investigation is looking into the cause of the accident.
